Jam Gadang
The Dutch constructed this clock tower, a Bukit Tinggi landmark that's a topped with a Minangkabau- style roof, in 1827. Mount Merapi and Mount Singgalang, the two picturesque volcanoes that flank Bukittinggi, can be viewed from the tower's observation deck.
